Either approach works. The right one depends on how hands-on you want to be.

Option 1: Buy it yourself

This suits you if you want:

  • Full control
  • Direct access to billing and renewals
  • Hands-on involvement

You own the domain. You manage the registrar account.

Option 2: Have me handle it

Most clients choose this because:

  • It is quicker
  • No registrar dashboards to learn
  • No risk of incorrect DNS
  • Everything is set up from day one

You retain ownership. I handle the technical parts: registration, DNS, connection to hosting.

What does not change

Either way, you own the domain. The only difference is who sets it up and manages the technical details.
