The challenge
Lamitech had outgrown eBay. They needed a professional online presence that could handle direct sales to retail customers while still serving trade and wholesale clients. Without a dedicated store, they had no clear way to present their laminate range (CPL, HPL and board materials across 30+ finishes) or to automate pricing and shipping for different customer types.
The store had to support two distinct flows: straightforward B2C checkout for end customers, and B2B-style enquiry paths using click-to-call and quote requests. Product presentation needed to reflect the specialist nature of the offer—8×4 sheets, 3mm and 15mm thickness options—without overwhelming less technical buyers.
