Juice Energy is the UK's leading independent specialist in industrial battery care, serving warehousing and logistics clients nationwide. They needed a strong online presence that could support both direct product sales and an expanding service offering (breakdown, maintenance, rental and consultancy).

The brief was to consolidate two legacy sites into one platform, improve SEO, refresh the design to match the brand's evolution, and build a foundation that could support both UK growth and international expansion.

The brief

Juice Energy had grown organically, with two separate websites creating a fragmented experience and competing for search visibility. The goals were to merge them into one user-friendly platform, improve SEO across both product and service terms, refresh the design to reflect the brand's evolution, and support UK growth and international expansion plans.

The challenge

Juice Energy's organic growth had expanded their service offering (breakdown, sales, maintenance, rental and consultancy), but their online presence was split across two legacy platforms. That fragmentation created a disjointed brand experience and cannibalised SEO efforts. Each site competed with the other for search visibility, and users had no single place to find products and services together.

The brand was evolving. The site needed to reflect that: clear positioning, bold design, and a structure that could support both e-commerce and service-led content. The platform also needed to be flexible enough for future growth, including international expansion.

The approach

The digital foundation was rebuilt from the ground up on Shopify. Two sites became one, with a clear split between e-commerce and service-led content.

Consolidation: Merged both websites into a single Shopify build. One platform for products and services, one URL for search, one consistent brand experience. The result boosted both SEO and user experience.

Structure: Created a clear separation between the e-commerce shop and brand-level services. Customers can browse products (chargers, battery components, safety equipment) or explore service offerings (breakdown, maintenance, rental, consultancy) without losing their way.

Design: Developed a bold, performance-focused design aligned with Juice Energy's refreshed brand identity. The site conveys expertise and energy without sacrificing clarity or speed.

SEO: Implemented technical SEO best practices and product-level optimisation. An ongoing SEO strategy targets both service-level and product-specific search terms, supporting growth across product sales and professional support.

Analytics and conversion: Set up tracking for key conversion points. The team can measure what works and optimise over time.

Content: Supported content creation for social media, with a focus on LinkedIn: video, photography and animation designed to bring the organisation's expertise and personality to life.

The outcome

Since launch, Juice Energy has seen increased visibility for key services and product categories. The consolidated platform ranks more effectively for both service and product terms.

LinkedIn engagement has strengthened with targeted content and media. The renewed social strategy (video, photography and animation designed for social) has driven sustained uplift in impressions and engagement.

User flow and conversions have improved across the site. The platform is flexible, built to support future growth as the business expands.

Why it worked

The consolidation removed friction. One site, one brand, one clear structure. SEO efforts could focus on a single domain instead of two competing. Users could find products and services in one place.

The split between e-commerce and services gave clarity without silos. The bold design reflected the brand without overwhelming. The result is a platform that performs now and scales for UK and international growth.
